The Orchid Lady wants everyone to be able to use our website. We are working to make theorchidladysrq.com easy to use for people of all abilities, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time task.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines help make websites easier to use for people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, and other assistive tools.

What we do

We build and review the site with accessibility in mind. That includes clear text and color contrast, labels on forms, keyboard access, alternative text on meaningful images, and support for reduced-motion settings. As we add pages and features, we check them against the same standards.

Known limitations

Some content may not yet be fully accessible. Third-party tools, embedded maps, and older content can fall short despite our efforts. When we find an issue, we work to fix it.
